Get ready for the Homegrown Festival in Canada! The Niagara Homegrown Festival welcomes visitors to vineyards over the course of 2 different Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays in June of 2022. Tickets are on sale now for either the Discovery Pass (wine and culinary pairings) or the Driver’s Pass (non-alcoholic cocktail and culinary pairings). Each Discovery Pass entitles you to six curated pairings.

**Please note the Discovery Passes and Driver’s Passes purchased must match the reservation dates for attending the wineries.

FAQ

What is the difference between the Discovery Pass and the Driver’s Pass?
The Discovery Pass includes a VQA wine tasting with the culinary pairing. The Driver’s Pass includes a non-alcoholic cocktail with the culinary pairing.

Are we able to share passes?
Yes! Simply present your QR tickets as needed at the winery if you’d like to share your pass. 

Which wineries are participating this year, and are reservations required?
You can see the full list of participating wineries by clicking here.
Reservations are required at some wineries*; others will welcome walk-up guests (although it is recommended that you book in advance).
By reserving in advance, you will also receive an itinerary and the ability to add your tasting reservations to your calendar.

Do I have to do all 6 of my wineries in one day?
No, each pass is valid for a weekend, which includes the corresponding Friday Saturday and Sunday.

Are there any age restrictions?
Guests must be 19 years of age or older to participate in the Discovery Pass. Please drink responsibly. Children are welcome to participate in the Driver’s Pass, provided they are accompanied at all times by an adult.

How do I get a copy of my ticket(s)?
When you purchase a ticket you will recieve an email with a QR code (this is your ticket, feel free to print or download a copy to your phone.) Merely present this QR code to the wineries when you arrive for them to scan.

What is the Refund/ Cancellation Policy?
Tickets are final sale. Refunds will only be issued for extraordinary circumstances. Event is rain or shine – refunds will not be issued for weather. Processing fees are not refundable. If  the event is cancelled, guests will have the option to keep a credit with the Festival for future events, saving the non-refundable processing fees.

Are there any additional fees for processing registrations?
Yes, transaction and credit card processing fees are added to each ticket. These fees are non-refundable. 

What are the COVID-19 and Health and Safety Protocols?
Participating wineries operate In accordance with current Ontario and regional protocols. At current, masks and proof of vaccination are not required, however this policy is subject to change based on guidelines and local ordinances as the event approaches. COVID safety protocols are in place at winery locations, including sanitization and outdoor tasting spaces. By purchasing ticket(s) you acknowledge that you are in compliance with current provincial mandates.

What happens if the event is cancelled due to COVID-19?
If that occurs, Niagara Grape & Wine will refund ticket fees. Registration fees are not eligible for refund.
